West Meat S.R.L. began in Cuvin, Arad County, in the Western part of Romania, in 2003. Its first activity was to establish stables for animal export (Cattle/Equine).Weekly export capacity: 1500 heads of cattle and 875 equine.
In the next years, West Meat, extended its activities from exporting live animals to slaughtering cattle, pigs and equine.
Naturally, West Meat continued expanding by adding a service of live animal transport which eventually grew into transporting many other transport types: freezers, tarpaulins, textile.
We currently cover the entire European continent with our fleet, and not only that.
In 2007 West meat opened what is becoming an entire chain of restaurants under the brand name Pomo D'Oro, specialized in Italian cuisine.
In 2009 we began our activity in the expediotion house, to totally satisfy our client's needs.
At the moment, in the middle of 2009, West Meat has, on Romanian soil:
- over 118 employees
- 22 last generation trucks
- a quarantine farm
- meat warehouse
- 3 restaurants
- 4 offices
